Packs
What is a Pack?
Small gatherings of followers of Christ meeting on their own, facilitated by a leader, is not a new phenomenon. In fact, in the first few hundred years of the church, these kinds of groups were pretty much the only way to experience church.
Luke describes this type of group in Acts 2:42-47, and throughout years of church history, the value of these groups hasn’t changed. At our church you’ll find the same healthy, independently functioning, leader-facilitated, small groups of people that Luke wrote about over 2,000 years ago. We call them PACKS.
Sermon Series Based
Four Elements in a Pack.
PLANTED
Consistent discipleship has potential to produce maturity in Christ. This is the vision behind nine months of weekly gatherings. Committed investment into God’s Word, a community of believers and a shepherding leader will grow deep spiritual roots.
ALIGNED
Growing to be more of who God made them to be occurs as a result of studying the Word of God in a small community and holding each other accountable to transformation through authentic relationships.
CONNECTED
Meaningful relationships develop, and the group figures out how to support and take care of each other. Groups influence their community by taking it upon themselves to bring about restoration and nurture long-term relationships that develop others.
KEPT
Giving truth with grace brings about transformation. Sheep need to be directed and corrected by a shepherd as they grow in Christ. Compassionate Correction is essential to maturity in Christ. Authentic relationships open the door to truth and transparency.
